Yes, and you can have the same experience in New York that begins from April 1st and last until the end of the month. Every year in spring, cherry blossoms bloom at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in April. It is one of the most beautiful things to witness. People come from all over the world to gain this experience. Not only are the cherry blossoms lovely, but the botanical garden itself is well worth a visit. It’s difficult to believe, but you’ll be able to see so many rare plants right in the middle of New York City.
THE ORCHID SHOW
Here’s something else that’s worth a look at. The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden will take all the visitors to a dreamy kaleidoscope of colors with floral designer Jeff Leatham’s designs. This show was cut short in 2020 due to the pandemic, and it had a limited run in 2021. However, in 2022, it will be back in full swing. This is one of the things you should do while in New York. This show is available from the end of February to the end of April.
St. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
This is one of the oldest parades, attracting around 700,000 people each year who want to be a part of the spectacle. The parade’s final destination is St. Patrick Cathedral. It occurs either directly on March 17th or, if a weekday, then on the following weekend. As a result, many people will be able to enjoy and participate in it. This parade begins moving north 44th street/corner of 5th avenue without a delay at 11 a.m.
FRIEZE NEW YORK
If you enjoy art and live in New York, this is a must-see. Frieze New York, which is held at The Shed at Hudson Yard, features work by over 1,000 artists and 200 international galleries and is well worth a visit. You can lose yourself in those beautiful paintings, and this is not something that an art lover should be told. There are numerous other things that can be enjoyed and are worth seeing.
MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
This is one of the best things to watch in spring in New York. This Memorial Day parade takes place on the last Monday in May. The parades take place in all five boroughs on the last Monday in May, with the Little Neck Douglaston Parade in Queens which is not only the largest in New York but also the largest in the country. The parade begins in Little Neck and ends in Douglaston. Surprisingly, there is only a small Memorial Day Parade in Manhattan. It begins at Dyckman Street and Broadway in Inwood, Manhattan’s most northern district.
